As Executive Director, Kristal oversees all aspects of the full-service retirement community, including apartment and single-family homes, independent and assisted living, memory care, the Touchmark Health & Fitness Club, Rehabilitation & Aquatic Therapy, and Home Health & Home Care.
Kristal has nearly 30 years of experience in senior living and brings extensive knowledge about the many functions required to run a successful retirement community as well as impressive strengths in leadership and development. Devoted to residents, families, and team members, she embodies Touchmark’s mission: To enrich people’s lives.
Initially, Kristal served 10 years as Health Services Administrator at Touchmark before being named Assistant Executive Director, a position she held for two years prior to her promotion to Executive Director.
Previous industry experience included 15 years as Director and Health Services Administrator with Park Lido Assisted Living.
Born and raised in Clark County, Kristal has always been active in sports, which continues to be a big part of her and her family’s lives. Over the years, she has coached youth sports and volunteered with numerous organizations. Currently, she facilitates a countywide dementia support group that meets at Touchmark and serves on the Evergreen Public Schools CTE Medical Science Advisory Board.
Kristal attended Clark College and studied Business Administration. She also participated in the Washington State Boarding Home Administrator Training through Washington State’s Department of Social and Health Services.
Outside of work, Kristal enjoys spending time with her husband Drue, their adult daughter Lindsay, and their three dogs. A close-knit family, they enjoy camping in their RV, boating, fishing, cruising at sea, and vacationing near water in a warm climate.
