As Executive Director of Touchmark, Amanda oversees all aspects of the full-service retirement community, including apartment homes, independent and assisted living as well as memory care. In 2017, the community opened a Health & Fitness Club, part of a four-story expansion that also includes underground parking and additional independent living and memory care services.

Amanda joined Touchmark in 2017 following a nearly 10-year career with Hilton. She started with the company as Director of Sales for the Hilton Garden Inn Sioux City Riverfront in Iowa. She then was promoted to General Manager of the 123-room hotel and oversaw sales, maintenance, the kitchen, guest services, housekeeping, and other departments. In 2011, she was named Regional General Manager of the Year for the Hilton Garden Inn Central Division.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, where she was on the Dean’s List and a collegiate soccer athlete. Community involvement and volunteerism have always been a high priority for her, and she currently is active in the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce and represents retirement communities on the board of Sioux Falls’ Citizens Advisory Council (CAC), which solicits public participation in the local transportation planning process.

She and her husband have two children: a daughter and son. A boxer rounds out the family. Fitness activities dominate the Snoozy household with Amanda and her husband coaching their children’s sports teams and participating in school events. The family enjoys traveling, as well.
