Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village

As Executive Director for Touchmark, Scott oversees all aspects of the retirement community including cottage and lodge homes, independent living, assisted living, early dementia support, memory care, and home care.

He joined Touchmark’s administrator-in-training program in 2004 and worked at Touchmark on South Hill in Spokane, Washington. In 2006, he moved to Bend, Oregon, and served in several roles. Prior to his appointment as Executive Director, he was Assistant Manager and Administrator, Residential Care. He also oversaw Resident Relations.

Before joining Touchmark, Scott worked as a child-family therapist and school counselor at the elementary and middle school levels in the Vancouver and Walla Walla public school systems in Washington. He then taught English, History, and Biblical Studies in a private school as well as served as Vice Principal. He graduated in 1994 from Walla Walla College with a master’s degree in Social Work. Born and raised in the Northwest, Scott lived in Bend for eight years during his elementary and middle school years.

Scott and his wife, Jenny, have two children, River and Summer, and the family enjoys spending time outdoors. Scott’s favorite pastimes are golfing, biking, skiing, and kayaking.
