Claire Iball is the Vice President & Operations Controller at Touchmark, where she oversees portfolio management, billing, payroll, and accounts payable functions. She collaborates closely with the management team to develop budgets, monitor performance, and manage all back-office accounting operations. With 22 years of experience in the high-tech industry, Claire brings a wealth of expertise to her role.
Before joining Touchmark in 2024, Claire was last a Finance Director at Intel, where she played a pivotal role in strategic planning, financial strategy formulation, setting financial margin goals, and performance monitoring. Prior to this, she held various finance roles supporting manufacturing, software development business, and business units. During her 20+ years with Intel, first in Ireland and then at Intel Oregon headquarters, she advanced from her first role as a budgeting and planning analyst. She has led teams providing crucial financial input on P&L management, planning, investment prioritization, valuation analysis, influence and operationalizing strategies, and financial controls.
Claire is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree with a major in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Information Technology from the University of Limerick, Ireland. She sits on the Chartered Accountants Worldwide Network USA Board and Members Board for Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with her family and friends, skiing, and reading. She is also a devoted parent to her three sons, often taking on the role of their “Uber” to various activities.
